Attracting the youth of our community to come to Church is a top priority for us. We believe that parents should bring their children to Church from a very young age so that our children would be educated as Christians and so that they would sustain and strengthen their Armenian heritage and culture.
St. James youth programs encompass a diverse range of activities, covering the “Cross of Circles” of worship, witness, education, service and fellowship. Youth activities are coordinated by our Youth Director Brenda Khederian, and include participation and hosting of nationwide ACYOA seniors and juniors events, retreats, basketball league and “Youth Talks” - a series of discussions lead by Father Arakel. We strongly encourage the youth of our community to come to Church every Sunday, participate in Badarak (Divine Liturgy) and also to become involved in many different youth activities that are available in our Church and in our community. If you need further information, please contact Brenda Khederian at (781) 899-8650. Each year we have a number of scholarships available for those students who are actively involved in our parish and in our community. Please contact the church office or the Pastor to learn more about these opportunities. We very much look forward to seeing you in our Church. |
