Once Baptized, the child is now ready to receive the Holy Spirit by the act of affirming the faith and promising to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior. 

The priest pours Holy Muron into the palm of his hand and then seals the child’s forehead, eyes ears, nostrils, mouth, hands, heart, back and feet beseeching the Holy Spirit to seal the Faith willingly accepted by the newly-baptized and to protect the child’s sight, thoughts, words, deeds and service from the influences of evil in the world.

After the Chrismation, the child is administer the Holy Body and Holy Blood of Jesus Christ, which binds us all to God and to each other.  By receiving Christ, now the grand design of God’s plan commences, the life of a Christian has begun and will be completed in the Heavenly Jerusalem, the Kingdom of God.
